"Please ignore any historical reviews about the hotel and its previous need of modernisation. The hotel has had a complete refit - in fact I was speaking to a hotel maintenance employee, he said that the floor I was staying on had quite literally had a refit the previous week!
Good value for money, and literally next door to Stoke on Trent railway station (It's the old station hotel)
I would not hesitate to stay there again."

"The place was very nice
I didn’t partake of the food because I had brought my own
But the staff was very friendly and it was a nice stay
I may return someday and next time I will have breakfast"

"DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY! AWFUL SERVICE. I booked this property for me and my friends and the booking was cancelled LESS THAN TWO DAYS BEFORE. I was promised and refund and have been chasing this for the last month and the property is completely UNCONTACTABLE! Hotels.com have not refunded me nor will they unless the property replies! Hotels.com has now given up and I have lost over £400! DO NOT BOOK HERE!"

"I understood the price once I arrived. We passed people that looked suspicious of drug using in the halls many times. The bed was horrible. I woke up aching. Grateful for the free parking though. I’m sure in its day it was a great place. It’s very run down now "

" This is a budget hotel and extremely good value for the low price I paid. Some very good points... Room fairly spacious, warm radiator, lots of hot water, safe place to park the car, pretty central as just off the M6, unlimited supply of coffee tea milk and sugar, easy to operate small TV adequate size for the room, bed very comfortable . The staff were very helpful and efficient.
Negative points are few but relate to bathroom in particular. Needed a good clean in some areas and older fittings...
