"We loved the hotel and the grounds, we had a balcony and we were able to see squirrels, rabbits, all sorts of birds…even pheasant. The suite was so spacious and relaxing. The restaurant and bar were great and all the wait staff so friendly. We found the location very convenient for car day trips and walks to the village. We would definitely recommend this property."

"My mother and I simply chose the hotel due to price as we were visiting family in the area. Our expectations were not high due to low cost. We were very surprised. Yes you do have to manage expectation when staying here is sje is an old type hotel. Would we go again? Absolutely. Service, great, rooms and hotel spotless. Staff friendly, breakfast buffet style scottish breakfast with some continental. Looking fwd to our next visit."

"I spent two weeks in the highlands and this was the first hotel I stayed at for two nights in the Cairngorms. It was my favorite place I stayed the whole trip, such a warm authentic country feel with the nicest staff who make you feel right at home in the highlands. The breakfast was fabulous too, my favorite Scottish breakfast of the trip, with pretty views into their courtyard and quiet peaceful vibe. "
