"We had a great stay and really enjoyed having access to the castle grounds so close to our room. We asked for a fan in our room and it was delivered immediately . The restaurant for breakfast was only a minutes walk away and had a stunning view of the castle . The food was of a very high quality and good choice of individually cooked items , plus an extensive buffet. Thoroughly recommend for a special occasion ."

"10 minutes walk from Rochester castle and high street. Located just on the Strood side of Rochester Bridge. Room was acceptable, with a nice en-suite equipped with shower gel and shampoo. No air-con unfortunately, but a fan was provided (weather was v hot during my stay). Staff were polite and helpful. I paid just over 90 quid for a double room. Acceptable value"

"Set in a motorway services, it is noisy and lacks any meaningful character. Dining options are purchasing pre-packed drinks & snacks from reception (when it's open) or eating at the Services. Walkable to Leeds Castle for an evening where we didn't want to drive, which made it worth the while. Not badly priced."
