"The view from our terrace room was across the green and rolling hills, with scattered sheep and a few stone farm house. Very pleasant. The room was spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the temperature in the room just right. The breakfast Jeanina cooked was excellent. The B&B host went out of his way to get us to and from a working bus stop since the road was closed and buses not going through the village. So super helpful. "

"Food was really gorgeous. We had breakfast, dinner and cream tea there. All excellent. Room was very comfortable but small. Hotel garden lovely. Drinks great. Service was haphazard: often had to go inside to seek or give a food order, or request cutlery once food had come etc, as hard to flag someone down once we’d been seated/served. Some staff were welcoming, some were brusk. Hotel in beautiful town and was a lovely place. Overall, would go again. "

"A good modern hotel well situated in the city centre. The room was pleasant and well furnished. My initial room allocation was ground floor with a dingy outlook but it was no problem to change. The breakfast was a good standard. The staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended!"
