"Such a peaceful spot. We had breakfast outside each morning while listening to the birds and then spotted constellations in the properly dark night sky. The cottage was well equipped with lots of quirky details, just as the name suggests and the location was perfect for us - handy for visiting family. The welcome was really warm, too. It would be lovely to return one day. "

"A little gem. A small local pub with 2 rooms above. I don’t usually leave reviews, but felt I really should on this occasion. The staff, all of them, were welcoming and friendly. We ate in the pub on 2 occasions and food was absolutely superb. It’s a small menu but everything was delicious. Room was spotless and clearly thought had gone into the decor. There is no on-site parking but there is plenty of parking on nearby roads. The village itself is pretty, and central to many of the attractions...
