"Context: We used this as a very short one-night stay moving through Bucharest on our way to Transylvania. It was in the June 2026 heat wave. Location: We took the train from the airport to Gara Nord, then walked with our luggage in Gara Nord to the metro stop, then took the yellow line out to Mihai Bravu and walked 7-10 minutes to the hotel. "Sadly the management team was selectively unresponsive in modifying our reservation due to a sudden death in the family. The property was nice, and in a great location, but the Rembrandt front desk has very little authority over Windmill, which appears to be run by managers behind the curtain. I must say the hotels.com team was terrific in trying to help modify our reservation."
