"Absolutely gorgeous accommodation. Clean, comfortable, safe and modern rooms in a wonderful old ~1600s-1700s building giving a unique rustic flair. Fantastic location right in the heart of Ampthill (which is the most adorable little town), with plenty of restaurants, cafes and pubs nearby. Food and drink at the White Hart itself were fantastic. "Work trip in very hot weather... Obviously too warm (English, we're never happy) but fan in room did help. Enjoyed the evening meals, didn't do breakfast. Wednesday night bar was quiet and it was nice to sit and read. Thursday night... School Prom. Nice to see the hotel being utilised but there was no prior warning or designated area for paying guests. Discussed with hotel & thank you for apologising and understanding my frustration. Yes, I will book again if work brings me back this...
