"We really enjoyed our stay here. We prefer small, boutique-style hotels with architectural character. The location, in easy walking distance (25 min) of much of the historic center of Mexico City, was ideal. The rooms were very clean and well kept. There was an expansive Mexican style breakfast included in the room rate, filling and varied. Most importantly, the staff are efficient, courteous, and extremely kind. They deserve a daily tip every day!"

"Our stay at Straw Hat was quite pleasant. The staff member (shout out to Alfonso) was super nice and accommodating. He got us checked in and gave us a tour of the place. The place itself is nice and quiet despite being so close to the Zocalo. Alfonso also helped us feel safe while giving us ideas of where to walk around. A lot of touristy things to do that are quite accessible and walking distance. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom (despite being a shared bathroom) is also kept...
