We booked this hotel when departing the channel tunnel and arrived an hour later. We parked the car really easily, check is was very simple and our room was very comfortable with lots of space. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and for breakfast both were great. We will definitely stay again.

Excellent, historical hotel in a very central location

Return visit and even better. Don’t usually review hotels that we really like because they then become too popular, however this is a gem. The owners are friendly and accommodating and the room standards are excellent. We had a superior double on the way out and a junior suite back. Both were really plush. The only slight problems are not the fault of the proprietors- parking fees nearby are high and there is a problem with bird mess on cars from trees in the car park outside, don’t park...

We first stayed here over 30 years ago and it still has all the charm we so . The restaurant is superb and the cheese and sweet trollies a sight to behold with such a selection. A foodies delight.

Great hotel opposite the Louvre. Stylish, comfortable and interesting. Great breakfast but a little on expensive side. Excellent staff where nothing was too much trouble. Dog friendly and parking on site. Restaurant closed on Sunday night but planchas are well done. Really enjoyed the hotel and would definitely stay again.

Room very clean. Bathrooms will need to be updated ie walking showers instead of baths? Breakfast very fresh with plenty of choice = viennoiseries, breads, fresh apple and multi fruits juices, cold meats, cheeses, yogurts, etc.. Various brands and flavours of teas. Coffee machine offering espresso, capuccino, hot chocolate etc.. A welcoming bar offering various drinks = beers, wines, spirits with snacks ie peanuts, crisps, chocolate bars. Nice stay after a midnight ferry arrival. Staied here on our way to Paris. Good value!

While the process of checking in and out is fully automated, the care of the owners for the visitor's experience is clearly visible. From the very well equipped family suite interior, to the amenities, the well kept back garden, and most of all the lovely breakfast, we did not expect such an amazing stay in the middle of nowhere between Calais and Reims. Thumbs up.

We arrived late and so an email with clear instructions for access was sent. Very pleasant breakfast service.

Herbes Folles is absolutely wonderful. The host is attentive and welcoming. The rooms are exquisite and very well presented. Breakfast is a must - home made and locally sourced produce.

I booked this stay as a gift to my wife, as it sounds truly idyllic, and the reality was as I stated "better than I could have hoped" This is a truly stunning hotel, with beautiful spotless rooms,fresh luxurious clean linen and towels, hot water roomy shower and comfortable bed, tea/coffee and an enormously welcoming host.
