Seamless check in - polite & v pleasant staff member on reception who gave us information & directions with regard to charging the car & places to eat as it was a Sunday night & not many places open. Excellent large room ideal for us travelling with our dog. Dog bowls & toy also provided in the room which was a nice touch along with a complimentary bottle of water & well stocked coffee & tea facilities. Amazing hotel, architecturally stunning and beautiful. The rooms are minimilist and functional but very clean. Bed was great. Only minor issue: toilet was separate from the bathroom and I had a real squeeze to get into the shower due to the way the door opened. The hotel is in the old town high up. Whilst it is only 5 minutes or so from the funicular railway, it's still a schlep to get into the city centre. Personally, the quality of the hotel and the views made the journey worthwhile.

The hotel is really nice, quite small, but very clean and very friendly and helpful staff. The room was really good too, the bed was so comfortable, we loved it! We didn't have breakfast so we can't comment on that, but it is offered at 20€ per person. There are soooo many really good Boulangeries in the city, so we preferred to explore those. Location wise it is pretty good. It's about a mile or so walk to the centre, and about another half a mile to Vieux Lyon, so if you want to be right...

Very nice small B&B rooms where clean and tidy and the breakfast was well prepared. Would definitely recommend staying here as I will next time I'm in Lyon. I only have 2 very small suggestions, the first is with Hotels.com and the listing there is NOT an airport shuttle as listed which to be honest you would not expect from a small B&B. The second and this is a very small thing. As there is no restaurant on site perhaps some tea and coffee making facilities in the breakfast room would be nice...

This hotel is in a great location in Lyon with easy access to public transport. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and so was the bathroom with a great shower. The building itself is old and full of character and the layout isn’t conventional, therefore our room was only small but functional. There were bigger rooms but none available for the dates I wanted. Breakfast was plentiful and good value with lots of choices that set you up for the day. Would I stay here again, definitely
