This hotel was a highlight of our recent tour around France. Located in gorgeous french countryside, with wonderful facilities of heated hot tub, heated pool and tennis courts included as well as bike hire. Rooms are beautifully French and there are lovely seating options in the library and gardens to enjoy some of your locally purchased wines, cheeses and other goodies. A special mention to the staff, who ever does the staff hiring and training at this hotel really knows their stuff; reception...

This place is a little gem, nested in the countryside with a fantastic vibe. The host is extremely kind and clearly made a great work with the place, the room was perfect for my family of 4 and we all loved the stay. The breakfast was definitely the best in our month-long vacation in France. When going again to the Loire valley, I'd definitely be coming back a La Source de Bury to use as a base to visit the many castles in the area.

Warm friendly welcome on arrival. Great communication in the run up to our visit. François was the perfect host full of ideas and information on where to visit and weather updates. Stayed in the penthouse apartment. Beautifully furnished immaculately clean amazingly comfortable. Lovely outdoor private patio and garden area. Fantastic grounds. Would highly recommend Le Grand Saint-Marc. Thank ypu again François

The bedroom was very spacious with a lovely comfortable seating area for watching t.v. plus a standard reading lamp. Bedding and bed were both excellent and the hotel provided 3 pillows each (this is rare). There were many thoughtful touches in the room and bathroom such as shaving mirror, room for toiletries to be stored, plenty of hooks for bathrobes etc and good clothes hangers in the wardrobe. Colivault was exceptional, from the house and grounds to Richard and his family’s warm hospitality. This is one place we will definitely return to again and again. The rooms are luxurious, the breakfast was plentiful, served outside in the dappled sunlit garden and the pool was delightful. Pet friendly accommodation is hard to find of this high calibre. Wonderful French charm, it’s easy to see why so many guests fall in love with Colivault. 10/10 , 5 stars, we can’t wait to return. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
