"I made a last minute booking whilst on a bike tour through mid Wales. There are no rooms on the ground floor so the staff were really helpful to store my bike in a secure place as my room was on the second floor. The restaurant was closed by the time managed to shower and get myself sorted at 8.50pm, none the less there is a local Turkish place were I managed to have a delicious healthy meal to fuel me the next day. The hot breakfast at the hotel was very good."

"From arriving to departure the owner and staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. We went B&B, plus evening meal, which was well worth it. Big mention to three of the staff Will, Osian “Fish” and Willow who really went out of their way to make sure our 3 night stay was very memorable. Will definitely be trying the sister hotel in Dolgellau in the near future."

They appear to have thought about everything you would need for your stay and gone out of their way to provide it. Would happily stay there again if our travels took us that way. "This was a short break for us, just two days. Food was really good with portions rather too large for us pensioners. Great choice at breakfast. Lunch menu wide ranging: we had home made fish finger sandwich with chips, only £10. Puts Warners to shame. Will go again. very convenient for trips out, eg Steam railway and Brecon canal trips."

"Stayed for one night, there’s a carpark opposite and free if you cannot park directly outside the hotel. Comfy bed, fridge in room, staff were friendly. Hotel seems to be in a run down location so doesn’t look the most appealing but overall we had no problems and had an enjoyable stay. Ebbw has breakfast choices if you decide not to eat at the hotel."
