Stayed here for one night in Room 5 (I think) As I was driving back from a festival in Dorset, I kept in touch with the hotel staff about my arrival and all was fine when I arrived about 7pm. There’s no private parking. Street parking only, but at least it was right in front of the house and free. The owner showed me around the B&B, the bedroom and the separate shared bathroom. It was very fantastic, I have known kevin since i started my shifts in stoke-on-trent. Very Gentlemen and warm as always. the room is very clean and very large as I didn't expect it. (the room I reserved) room was so warm and bed is new, I should say all is new from floor to ceiling. We stayed at this hotel for a night stay ready for our polar express day at the nearby churnet railway station, we had an absolutely lovely time at this hotel friendly and helpful staff, the hotel is absolutely lovely and the rooms are clean and tidy and very comfortable. Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared. A book regarding the building was also an interesting read. Have stayed here before; it's convenient for a business location. Thought this stay was better than previous occasions, the staff put a lot of effort into service under the COVID restrictions, I felt comfortable and safe. Had evening meal and breakfast, the food was first class.

It was lovely, room clean and cosy. Staff friendly. If you’re lucky to stay at the weekend the cooked breakfast is second to none

Excellent

Place is immaculate with lots of parking. Drinks and food menus are perfectly decent and quality of the food was lovely. The thing that stood out an absolute mile for us was the staff. Did not come across a single person who wasn't a real pleasure to deal with - a great team and we'd like to thank you for making our stay a real pleasure.

Staff were absolutley great, room was clean and comfortable, perfect stay with late checkout and at a great price we decided to have a lay in and stayed another night. Shops on tap what more could we ask for
