We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful place. Lovely, helpful staff, comfortable, clean rooms and a hearty breakfast. What more could you ask for?

It's a nice pub that is part of the Thwaites chain. Menu doesn't cater well for Vegetarians and not at all for Vegans. Disappointing to see them burning coal on the fire in July, really thoughtless. Room was lovely though

Having been to the bar area for years I was really looking forward to staying in one of the rooms. The room was very nice, very spacious with large wardrobe and kettle with tea and coffee. The huge bed was so comfy, in fact the rooms couldn't be any better. The bathroom was lovely and spacious too with a great powerful hot shower, and the towels were beautiful. Quiet stay comfortable rooms

An excellent inn/accommodation with good food and reasonable prices. An old inn, much extend and beautifully decorated. Room are in the pub and 2 outside buildings. Only issue I would have is parking and access. . The site rises to the rear, both to the parking and the outside buildings. I use a walking stick and could just about manage the slopes and the stairs but severe walkers or wheel chair users would not. There is disabled parking (and electric charge points) availed. Having read all the reviews my friend and I were so excited to be staying for two nights. We thought we would try somewhere different to our favorite place at Bolton Abbey and went with high expectations. Absolutely top class in EVERY respect. Outstanding friendly, helpful, but also kind staff, a real team feel and a team who are clearly happy and proud to work there. Great to have air con in the dining room and also to have options to sit out in the fantastic weather to eat and drink....

Good location in the centre of Ilkley. Checkin was very efficient and friendly. Breakfast hamper in the room was more than enough with water, milk, orange juice, cereal, fruit etc and a fridge to keep things in.

Country hotel set in beautiful grounds, but modern and comfortable inside, friendly helpful staff and delicious food made for a relaxing short break. This was made even more special by a large delightful room and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on.

Picture postcard hotel. We had a garden room which was tastefully decorated and being able to sit in our own conservatory was great but the hotel had a bar and snug which were also lovely spaces. Beautiful garden with stunning views over to Hawes and it was just so peaceful to sit out there. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Fantastic breakfast and we also had dinner in the hotel and this was beautifully presented and delicious.

A little gem, absolutely loved pur stay! The cottage feel to our twin room (no.4) was in keeping with the village and the feel of the pub. The staff (man and woman on the evening service) made our stay! Loved eveything about it and will definitely return x

It wasn't easy to find - thank goodness for the satnav! - but it was certainly worth finding. Set in tranquil countryside with not a street light in sight, this hotel is a haven from the frantic world. Clean, pleasing to the eye bedrooms with en suite. Large car park and brilliant restaurant on the ground floor. Very welcoming staff who made it evident we were welcome. Rural location so generally very peaceful

Had a lovely weekend here. This hotel was perfect. Nice and quiet but lively enough to provide a pleasant ambiance without ever being noisy or overbearing. Staff throughout were lovely and the food is very good. Would highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere to get away and relax.
