"Very convenient location as it's at the center of the village but might not be suitable if one prefers a quiet place during the day because it's in a busy road."

"We had a warm welcome and an easy check-in, the bistro/bar/outside area was a lovely setting in the evening sunshine and a great spot for breakfast in the morning, the room was a good size and everything was clean. We had a good sleep in the comfy bed and pillows. The hotel was easy to find having arrived by train and ideally located to the night life, close enough to stroll down but not so close you would be disturbed by it. Great weekend stay."

"I changed some of my views because staying there and enjoying the old-age charm made me realise everything doesn’t have to be perfect. I enjoyed my stay; it was clean, andthe food was good."

"We always stay at this hotel. It's handy for all the places we want to visit. The rooms are always more than adequate for our requirements. Ideally, we like the disabled accommodation when that is available for my elderly brother.
The staff member who greeted us was polite and helpful. Breakfast is now buffet style which suits us better and there is a great variety of foods to suit all tastes. The staff were a little slow to clear used tables on my last visit but there were other tables further...

Lovey welcome and shown to our room. Was a delightful room with a subtle nautical theme. Didn't dine there in the evening as went to a fish restaurant down the quay. There was a help yourself continental breakfast and hot breakfast was to order. Great location.

What an awesome find !
As good as anywhere I have ever stayed beautiful building fabulously comfortable and so relaxing.
So much effort must go into delivering such exceptional customer service.
Rooms are large well stocked ( brownie tasters left with coffee were unreal - thanks apprentice Ben!) warm and comfortable.
Food here really deserves to be enjoyed at length as I struggle to think when I have tasted food prepared so well with an imaginative twist on the menu - first class!
