Really clean property which is decorated simply but beautifully. Really helpful / friendly staff. Hotel offers breakfast but we didn’t get it so can’t comment on that. There’s no restaurant or bar so I’d just remember to bring your own food or there’s one pub with simple options opposite.

The Guesthouse was beautifully appointed, and the views from all windows over the river, very special. We had a Loft room, with King Bed, that was really spacious including a lounge, table n chairs. The owners were very helpful and friendly and served an amazing breakfast. Dinner twice up the road at the Harp Inn was great.

We came to Hay on Wye to look at the bookshops and stayed in the Swan as a central location. The hotel is an old building so the stairs creak a bit and the carpets are slightly frayed in places but the hotel was warm and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable ( 2 arm chairs - a definite asset) and had a good view across fields. The food was very good and not expensive and the wine list was well thought-out. The dining room is elegantly laid out and there is a lovely garden for afternoon...

Stayed a year ago and re-booked for this year. Just one night stay, but the service is excellent, and we would like to have a longer stay next time. Our host is very helpful, and the breakfast is just what you need. Our room was comfortable, and the bed is lovely. Might bring the dogs next time to enjoy the countryside.

The stay here was amazing. I received a lovely welcome from the new owners Sian and Eifion. The room was beautiful with a view of the fields and river Wye. There was a complimentary tea and coffee tray. With a variety of different coffees, herbal tea and the tea bags in a jar. Not the mandatory two or three and one or two milks. It also included a teapot. The quality of bedding, towels and pillows were extremely comfortable. I had a delicious breakfast this morning, with homemade strawberry...

It is located down a farm track on the farm grounds. Surrounded by fields and views of mountains, it’s just stunning.
You have just what you need, a bed, tv, bathroom, kettle, toaster, hob and microwave. Take your own food and you won’t have to see a soul.
Sadly for us, we had a problem with our vehicle but the lovely owners let us leave it at the farm whilst we got parts for it.

The best place we have stayed in. Not a single thing to complain about. Good sized room, hot water, great meals, super helpful staff who were really friendly. Quiet location.
