Great stopover hotel with a beautiful old town within 15 minutes walk. We requested a ground floor room and appreciated being able to park our car (plus bikes) almost directly outside. Pleasant bar/restaurant area both inside and out. Would definitely stay again

The loviest bed and breakfast with the nicest host. This is a true little paradise. We arrived frazzled from a long drive and were greeted by the lovely hosts and all their animals. They were very welcoming and accommodating. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise and delicious. We cannot thank them enough.

We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is in a beautiful and quiet location. It is small, more like a restaurant with rooms and is very traditional in feel. It takes around 20-25 minutes to walk into the town of Mayenne along the river. Breakfast was good and we had dinner in the restaurant one night which was very good. Staff are polite and helpful. It was a very NEW and very clean room - everything felt new and nice, it was like the shower hadn't even been used before. The room is a little bit small and the area (though close to the train station) doesn't have many places to get food nearby - and as there is no food after 10pm at the hotel, I found this difficult as I arrived at 9.30. Breakfast was small in choice but very nicely presented and tasty and the breakfast area is lovey. Overall I would recommend this hotel and I would choose...

Huge room. Very comfortable

A great location overlooking the river. Easy on site parking. Nice bright & pleasant reception area and plenty of seating with views overlooking the river. A nice breakfast is available in this area with as much produce as possibly sourced locally. Room was clean & spacious. Very friendly and personable staff who are true ambassadors for their lovely hotel. Good value and would recommend. An Indian restaurant is on hand. At the time of our stay the reception closed at 8pm. Not sure what hours...

This hotel was just in the right location on the outskirts of Laval. I had a wheelchair accessible room which was spacious and convenient. All the staff were very pleasant and Effie to.

This appears to be a re-badged Campanile hotel which has just had Campanile signs changed to Design Inn. As such it provides good basic, no frills accommodation. The one difference with Campanile is that this hotel does not provide dinner but is very close to a Buffalo Grill which is conveniently located for dinner. There were various places where old Campanile signs had been removed but not well repaired so it gives the impression of not being well cared for. The staff were very helpful and...

Lovely place to stay - offered a clean, safe and friendly stop over

Gorgeous little hotel where nothing is too much of a problem and they are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The grounds are lovely with a river/stream flowing through at the bottom. We felt immediately relaxed after a long car journey. The only regret was not being able to enjoy the fine dining restaurant, as we were travelling with our dog. The bistro also in the hotel, however, where we could have our pet had some very good food. Look forward to a third return.

Great place great breakfast friendly host great rural location

It's very much a DIY bed and breakfast in a lovely location. We had the house to ourselves. The evening meal and breakfast were available in the kitchen to have at a time of our choosing. Antoine was very friendly and helpful . We would return
