"Clean rooms...9/10 clean bathroom. Plenty of places around for gas, food or snacks. Very friendly staff any problems I had were easily solved rite away. Comfortable beds and the pillows on the bed were new. We didn't get in the pool, it's not heated but very clean. I stay here all the time because I have a lot of appointments a UCLA it's the perfect halfway stop"

"It's one of the best hotels I have ever been. And I have stayed in thousands of hotels all around the world. Not to brag, but so you have an idea of my opinion. Peaceful place, clean, very helpful staff, very good breakfast, comforting Spa and pool. Special shout-out and thanks for Jeff at front desk and the lady at the kitchen, sorry but I'm no so good with names. Thanks to all the staff for making our week a very pleasant one."

"We had a nice stay here after a beautiful wedding at Gerry's Ranch in Camarillo/Santa Rosa Valley. We kicked off our dancing shoes and relaxed. Enjoyed an early morning breakfast and spent time in the jacuzzi to nurse our tired bodies. Loved the shower and the scents of the shower gel. Perfect ending to our perfect weekend."

Toothbrushes were forgotten at home but the front desk hooked us up with complementary toothbrushes. The hotel is very conveniently located right by the freeway. "Malibu Beach Inn is a very nice property. Rooms are well appointed and the views are fantastic. The restaurant food was very good. Some of the pictures online are outdated. The property no longer has a bar with stools. There is service bar and they have a few tables inside to sit at. There is no actual beach club - depending on the tide they have a few beach loungers set up. The beach area is very rocky. The spa is a separate facility located in a building across the street.
