"The room was nice. My only complaint was that we had to push really hard to fully close the door and we didn’t have access to the balcony. The bar and restaurant was great. We would definitely stay here again."

I really enjoyed my stay in this very friendly place. The room was clean and had a nice decor. As a solo traveler I felt safe in the hotel and in Sherman Oaks area. There are restaurants and 7/11 you can easily walk to and some shops and mall short ride away. The bus that goes to Universal Studios is also nearby so this is a good place to stay if you want to explore LA but stay away from Hollywood or Downtown that are not so great.
Staff members (especially Emily) were nice and caring.

We only stayed two nights at this hotel but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The hotel provides sheltered free car parking for guests which felt very safe and secure. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Conveniently the hotel is about 35 min from Griffith Park and the famous Griffith Observatory making it a great location to stay if you want to visit the tourist spots in LA. It was very good value, staff were great. Breakfast was as expected for the property. Was a bit far from downtown if you don't have a car, we walked about 45 min or you can catch the bus. Would definitely stay again if back in Santa Monica.

Everything was great. The check in process was smooth. Staff were friendly. The room was clean and had everything that we needed (except for a safe but I think that some other rooms have them). The room was better than we expected. Parkinng was easily available. The area felt very safe and quiet. There's a Trader Jo next door and there are a few places to eat about 10 mins walk away. We drive to most places that we wanted to explore in LA and they were all very accessible from here and in good...
