"Perfect location for a 1-night stopover in Kiel between the train and the ferry en route to Sweden from the Netherlands. The hotel is directly opposite the main train station and just 10 minutes' walk from the Stena Line terminal at Schwedenkai.
Very friendly and helpful staff, a lovely big room and breakfast served until after noon (because it was a Sunday). Highly recommended all round."

Comfort Hotel Tom Kyle0.4 mi from Ostseekai Cruise Terminal
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (416 reviews)
"Ganske fint hotel. Vi var på gennemrejse på vej hjem til DK og havde brug for en overnatning, hvor vi kunne parkere lige ved hotellet. Det var der fuldstændig styr på, da vi ankom. Fin service og skøn morgenmad. Rent og pænt og hundevenligt. Skal jeg på shopping i Kiel, vil jeg vælge et hotel tættere på centrum, da vi altid har hund med, men man kan dog sagtens gå til centrum."

The room was comfortable and the breakfast room was great with a very good selection and views of the harbour and the cruise ships. The front staff were exceptionally couteous, friendly and helpful with things like storing my suitcase for a few hours."

"Arrived after midnight, so no staff of cause. But managed to get our room.
The room had a weird smell, but other than that it was ok.
Didn't have a toilet though, but there was one next to the door into our room, so we used that. But then our neighbor woke up and got angry at us for using a toilet that was apparently just for their room. We had to use a toilet in the other end of the hotel apparently?"

"Room was very clean and confy, basic but functional. Close to mall snd bus so for business etc very well suited. Staff very helpfull and courteous. Confortable bed and desk for working. Basic breakfast no thrills but good enough. Would go again :) very good internet speed so for business it was perfect.
Very quiet location and no noise from outside.
Only issue is the noise from within the buidling/ rooms (no sound proofing at all) but as not too many in the building so was rather quiet."
