The bathroom was not on suite but across the landing, it is private so no complaints.

"This was an old building, and we expected it to have a few cobwebs, and yet there were none. restaurant staff were great and very obliging, especially on the day we overslept breakfast. The manager could not have been more helpful. The breakfast was spectacularly overwhelming, and the bar, given it was a bit small, managed still to be friendly, warm and inviting.
We booked this hotel as a previous hotel mis-booked us, the George and Pilgrims was a serendipitous find"
