"It was clean and convenient access to several good spots in the area. The only reason I took away one star is because the shower didn't work very well and the shower mat was pretty worn out. We used the ironing board and we were not able to put it back as it was bent. "

"Heerlijk resort met ruime appartementen. De appartementen hebben een uitgebreide keuken en zijn voorzien van een balkon. Het resort ligt op loopafstand van het strand, restaurants en winkels. Er is een zwembad en er zijn twee jacuzzi's (waarvan 1 alleen toegankelijk is voor 18+). Het resort organiseert allerlei activiteiten en heeft een tuin met ligbedden, barbecues en firepits. "

"I have been wanting to stay here for over a year now when we cross the border and go up to Carlsbad for Legoland visits. However we usually stay at Best Western or Holiday Inn because it’s a little cheaper and they offer breakfast. This time we found a great deal the day of and because my daughter had been asking to swim I jumped on the deal. We picked up some Dunkin Donuts on the way up and there was a Starbucks right across the street so breakfast was no big deal. It’s a pretty little campus! Staff was kind and helpful. Free coffee was a plus a d there are so many food options in the area. The flower fields are also right across the street!!!! I also appreciated that there was no freeway driving! I do these trips alone with my daughter and I felt very safe. If i can get this deal again, we will be back!"

"Loved the arrangement of room with full kitchen and bar sitting, with couch and tv in one room while bed with a tv and bathroom in the other room. The pool and hot tub area was fantastic. They were both outside and it was beautiful. Everywhere, inside and out was very clean. The front staff was so very friendly. The morning breakfast staff woman could have been a bit nicer with clients. It was by an interstate but inside the room you could not tell, it was so quiet. The bed was so comfy. Great area to explore. The beach was within a few minutes drive and it was amazing also. It was clean, and there was a facility to wash off your feet when done walking in the sand. The people we met in the hotel and beach were so very friendly. We were told it is one of the best areas to stay in, and did not need to worry about having our car broken in to. We felt very safe and secure everywhere we went in Carlsbad. We are already planning another trip in the future to spend more time next time and bring out our son, this was a couple get away and it was perfect. We will definitely stay here again. "
