We stayed as a family of five for three nights. Great location, very near to Times Square. The breakfast had loads of choice. We stayed five in a room which was manageable, but a bit of a squeeze with a glass wall for the bathroom separating it from the sleeping area which wasn’t ideal! Great views as we stayed on 21st floor. We also asked the hotel bellboy to arrange a private taxi to the airport at 4.45am.

The hotel itself is clean and centrally located for NYC tourism in Times Sq. the staff are great, breakfast included was a good start to each day and the price we got through Expedia was a bargain. Be warned that there is a migrant shelter directly opposite the hotel which can be intimidating as large groups hang around outside - the hotel have a regular security guard and the NYPD are outside the shelter all the time.

My daughter and I had a trip to New York for our big birthdays, hotel was very central close to port authority, walking distance to time square and many other areas. Hotel staff made our visit special for us and are very helpful , friendly , professional and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. I would avoid 9th Avenue at night time as it didn’t feel very safe .

The room was clean and cleaned well every day, the room was quiet, the bed was very comfortable, the location was great, although some might feel it is a block or two too far east, the staff/team could not have been more dependable, helpful and professional- each were real gems .For the price in Manhattan it was just what I’d hoped for. Sure it does not have a lot of extra general amenities but the room was fully kitted out and it all worked and I don’t need a spa etc . Will visit again .

Really nice hotel with a pleasant roof terrace and great staff; the free coffee all day was a nice touch as were the free croissants first thing. Lots of interesting food options nearby - iconic dining at: The Roxy; Bubby’s and Katz Diner were all only a short walk away. There are good transport connections via the nearby subway station and it sits in a very friendly and safe neighbourhood on the border between Chinatown and Little Italy.

Cool hotel near Grand Central Station. Nice area - not too busy, near restaurants, transport and shops. Hotel is boutique style - not big rooms but that’s NYC. Staff are lovely - Judy and the team. Water was replenished daily although note no coffee maker in room. Close to all night deli and loads of places for breakfast. It was a really good choice and would choose it again.

Fantastic location as the hotel is close to subway station so can easily get anywhere, but it’s in a more peaceful part of town. There are loads of excellent restaurants and coffee shops around.
Our room (two double beds) was spacious, clean and comfortable.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
I would recommend and would definitely stay again.

A really nice hotel with helpful staff. Our room was nice. Plenty of room and good storage. The only negative was that the TV was a bit dated.
It's pretty central and everything is just about walkable.

My fourth time staying at The Muse and I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else in Manhattan. Rooms are well kept, shower great, bed super comfy and location? There isn’t a better one I’d argue. On W46th between 6th and 7th Avenue so effectively the madness of Times Square on one side and the shopping heaven of 5th Avenue just a short walk away. Amazing network links for the subway anywhere in the city.

Can't fault the hotel, room was lovely!
Breakfast was great too.
I didn't realise it was in the middle of Time Square! oops! Quite busy outside... Happily stay again, I was over for a work trip.

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Sunnyside
Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Sunnyside is between January and March, when hotel prices are typically lower. This duration allows visitors to fully enjoy the area's urban scenery, impressive skyscrapers, and delightful dining options, all while staying on a budget. With the potential for prices to drop during these months, Sunnyside offers great value for money for those seeking a rich cultural experience.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute hotel deals in Sunnyside, explore the Dealsopens in new window or Last-Minute Dealsopens in new window sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounts on accommodation as your travel date approaches. With timely updates on room availability and price drops, you could be ready to book a spontaneous getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate based on various factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could help you to save on your stay at a hotel in Sunnyside. For those seeking distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels may provide a more personalised experience and potentially better value. When you make a booking through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest more economical dates to help you secure a better deal.
Consider your location: Opting for accommodation closer to key attractions or city centres can provide convenience, but it often comes with a higher price tag. For more affordable options, you might consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to the sites you wish to visit. Exploring independent hotels a bit further out can often lead to a more authentic and budget-friendly experience, as they usually tend to be cheaper.
