"The Grand Hotel Excelsior Amalfi is situated higher up in Amalfi with stunning views. The hotel staff are very helpful and the free hotel shuttle to and from Amalfi city centre is a plus. The hotel room charge includes breakfast that is quite good. The pool is nice and clean. We were guests mid-May so did not get to go to their private beach. I highly recommend this hotel!"

I loved the private rooftop area to lay out on and private beach area was so cool to walk too and enjoy. "Location is good and it’s newly renovated. Breakfast was included and the staff is helpful scheduling transportation to Positano or Revello. The days we were here there were many Ferry cancellations seemingly due to rough wave action on the various docs. The big boats could ride the waves better but it’s the docking experience seems to be a challenge during large swells in the ocean. The hotel was excellent in helping to create the backup plans."

"The hotel is located in the centre of Amalfi with all the transport links and shops close by. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially with helping us with our transport back to the airport. The breakfast had lots of choices and we especially liked the fresh coffee, fruit and pastries. Extremely good value for money and would recommend."
