Seamlessly merged with Can Pastilla and El Arenal, Playa de Palma offers 3 lively resorts in one. Fringed for its entire length by a generous stretch of golden sand, it’s a destination for beach-style R&R, water sports, seafront dining and top notch family attractions. Come sunset you’ll also find a buzzing nightlife, which lures in young revellers and top DJ’s alike. What’s more, it’s all just a hop, skip and a short bus ride from Mallorca’s bustling capital Palma.

Things to see

Stretching for around 4.5 sun-kissed kilometres, Playa de Palma offers plenty of space for the hordes of swimmers, sun worshippers and water sports junkies it attracts every year. Backed by a picturesque promenade, the Blue Flag beach provides lots of sunbeds and umbrellas too, along with plenty of places to grab a cool drink. Following on for it you’ll find El Arenal Beach, which offers exactly the same kind of set up. The largest waterpark on the island, Aqualand offers a colourful choice of slides and pools for all ages. Among them you’ll find adrenaline inducing chutes like ‘The Devil’s Tail’ and the ‘Black Hole’, a laid back ‘Congo River’, and a water playground for the kids. Palma Aquarium takes visitors on a mesmerising journey through the marine world, from the Mediterranean to the Pacific seas. Home to 700 species, you’ll encounter everything from vibrant tropical fish and sea turtles, to sinister looking sharks.
