We stayed at the Black Horse as we were going to a friends evening wedding reception in Nuthampstead which is about 3.5 miles away. This was one of the nearest places we could find to stay. Please don’t use Uber when you’re coming back from somewhere to the Black Horse because they are likely to cancel on you, use the local taxi company. The host was very nice. What a gorgeous apartment, I have stayed at the guest house several times before and always had a great room. This time we stayed in the traditional apartment which was absolutely stunning, the comfiest bed and even a private garden. The guest house is on a bus route so very easy to access Bushey train station or Watford giving you easy access to London in just 20 minutes. I would highly recommend and have already booked again.

This hotel is very good. It is tucked in the outskirts of Ware. The bedroom (in the attached block) was fairly small (was used as a training centre, so no need for large accommodation) but very comfortable, in fact the best nights sleep in a hotel for some time. I don’t have an evening meal here, but the breakfast was very nice, and included in the cost. Overall, highly recommend- I will stay here by choice when I next visit the area.
