What a find! Easily one of the best B&B's we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The attention to detail was superb and cleanliness 10/10. Very tastefully decorated and very comfortable. If I had to find any faults the TV reception was rather intermittent (not ideal when trying to catch up on the Olympics).

We stayed at the Decoy Barn recently and really enjoyed the following: * Room comfort - bed was super super comfy, shower was exactly the thing needed to get started in the morning, nice little kitchen. One of those rare finds that you almost want to keep to yourself so you can always get a room.. :-) We booked only 3 hours before our 2 night stay so options were limited and we were a bit worried we'd be left with what no-one else wanted. It turned out fantastically though. The Motel is brand new, spacious, clean, warm, and the TV had all the usual smart apps so we could watch practically whatever we wanted. Lovely stay from check in with very helpful, friendly receptionist, excellent dinner with perfect service and the same with breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable with some nice touches ( homemade shortbread, good coffee and tea selection, dressing gowns). Nice location to see what North Norfolk has to offer. Only booked for 1 night but would definitely recommend.

A flying visit, arriving late and leaving early. Welcoming and comfortable, however the overwhelming standout and the reason that I will definitely return is the food - dinner and breakfast were both exceptional.

We have just returned from the most wonderful four-day stay at The Harper Hotel and honestly cannot praise it enough. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. Keith greeted us and showed us to our room, Room 211, which was absolutely lovely. It is right at the end of the corridor, so it was incredibly quiet, which was perfect for us. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Beautiful pub and my evening meal was delicious, well presented and beautifully presented. The gym was excellent and far better than a lot of the larger hotel chains. Breakfast was equally as tasty. I will definitely be visiting this hotel again.

We were made welcome from the time we checked in and all hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel is dog friendly and cleaning staff even took the trouble to put a small plastic map for our dog's bowls in the room. Overall, a lovely stay with excellent breakfasts and excellent meals in both the restaurant and bar. The licensee who was on duty for most of our stay - Steve - was exceptionally helpful and went out of his way to make to make our stay enjoyable.

Looking for a cheap place to stay in North Walsham? Then this is it. Nothing special, but clean and comfortable. As mentioned by other reviews the check-in seemed long winded but wasn't excessive and was very pleasant. Would stay again.

A good place to stay near the town and good main road
