"We had a short but pleasant visit at this hotel. The premises outside and inside were well maintained. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff members were helpful and accommodating. The young African American server in the dining room at breakfast was a jewel. With his caring manner, his warmth, his excellent communication skills, and his efficiency, he made each guest feel wecome and special."

"The key to this hotel is the location in the heart of downtown Durham. It was a quick Uber ride for us to go anywhere, including the Duke game at Cameron Indoor Arena. Lots of good places to eat nearby. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was large and suited our needs. We enjoyed our stay and would happily return to The Durham Hotel."
