"Quiet room at back as requested. Code entry which we had forgotten but helpful staff on hand to explain codes at main door and suite. Room had issues with poor workmanship on blinds and shower unit not being fixed properly to wall which we made staff aware of the next day. Breakfast was excellent served quickly by very friendly staff."

"Great hotel a stone throw from Newcastle Central Station. Plenty bars, shops and restaurants nearby. Very clean room, corridors and public areas. Helpful, friendly staff. Room a good size for a family of 3. Even had a safe which you don't often see. Aircon good (once we worked out the best settings!). Comfortable beds. A tiny bit of street noise but nothing that would keep you awake. We heard nothing from other rooms (above/below/adjacent). Breakfast usual "free breakfast" fayre....
