Hotels near Ueno Zoo

"New hotel, large 800sq ft room at an affordable rate. Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Restaurants, trains and convenience stores were all closeby. Quoet neighborhood."

"Great place to stay, location is convenient and the staff were very hospitable. Room is large compared to other hotels in Japan - would definitely be recommending to friends and family and also book it again for future trips!"

"This hotel, which has a wonderful Japanese-French fusion restaurant, is conveniently located in Ueno. It's a great choice for those who want to be in quiet part of Tokyo."

"The best and most spacious accommodation we've stayed at in Tokyo (our third visit). We wanted to stay somewhere different than the usual tourist areas like Shinjuku and Ueno is the perfect option. It's merely 40mins on the Keisei Express train to/from Narita airport and you can catch the Shinkansen from Ueno station which is merely 15mins walk from the hotel. The hotel itself is quiet, super clean and conveniently located to a host of restaurants, shops and markets. Friendly and helpful...

"Very central to Akihabara without being in the chaos itself. 1.5 blocks to nearest train station made it easy to travel. Firm mattress and pillows didn't hurt my neck or back as hotels usually do. Staff always friendly and always had what I needed (iron, ice, on-time cleaning). Imo there was zero road noise as other reviewers mentioned. The only thing to complain are that the dining chairs could use more cushion, basically none left."

"Great, quiet location. Friendly staff and good size room especially for Tokyo. We traveled as a family of 4 and stayed in the Deluxe Studio apartment with 2 double beds and 2 sofa beds. Good size compared to what I’ve seen. Highly recommend! "

"Our favorite place to stay when we get to Tokyo. Charming rooms and cool pjs. Great view of Ueno Park and Shinobazu Pond too."

"The property is close to the train stations. Very convenient to travel around Tokyo. The staffs were also very helpful, especially Dong - thanks for that. It is only a short distance to shops, restaurants, Ameyoko street, and Ueno Park/Zoo. I highly recommend this hotel. We enjoyed our stay there. Next time we are in Tokyo, we will come back to this property again."

"Really clean and pretty property. Really great amount and condition of amenities. The location was perfect; really quiet but also walkable distance to station. Really great place to immerse yourself into traditional culture. "

"Great place to access metro, shopping & dining"

"Outstanding place! Very clean. Great location: Quiet at night but right next to Ameyoko and Ueno station. Perfect for a family of four. Would recommend anyone to stay here"

"Perfect location in Ueno!"

"Being located between Ueno Park and Akihabara, as well as being located near to multiple transit stops, makes this a perfect location to base a trip around Tokyo from! The staff are very pleasant and helpful and the rooms are clean and comfortable, just what you need for a place to rest before another busy day around Tokyo!"

"Near Ueno park and all the bustling Tokyo life"

"Clean room with nice amenities. Quiet room. Easy walk to subway, 7-11 and Ueno shopping. Good restaurants nearby as well."

"Great location in Ueno. Room was good size by Japan standards. Staff communicated well in English. Close to Metro and JR lines. Would recommend. "
