Staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food at 1 Kitchen was fresh and delicious, and Harriet’s Rooftop offered great cocktails with stunning views. The location is perfect for exploring King West on foot. A fantastic stay from start to finish—highly recommend."

"We always stay at the Royal York when in Toronto. The rooms and staff are always perfect and in the winter we always have great options for room service dining....although we did miss seeing the fish and chips on the menu this past visit. A stopover at the York is always a great finishing touch to our travels. Next visit will be this April for a game at Scotiabank Arena, can't wait!"

"Close to hospital where I had an appointment at. Stayed at the Alexandra about 10 times in the last 2 years. Never had a problem. It’s nice to have a kitchenette in room allowing to make something to eat should you desire or even just a cup of tea or instant coffee. There is a grocery store about 2 blocks away to get supplies."

It’s basic accommodations, yes, but the staff are awesome, everything is in walking distance and they keep basic breakfast foods like milk and cereal, coffee and tea, bread and peanut butter, jam, cream cheese, etc. well stocked in the modern common area kitchen. I love staying here when I’m in Toronto. 😊"
