The room was in great condition, super comfy bed, and lovely shower/bathroom. Only a 5 minute wonder into town, yet far enough away that its peaceful and quiet. "This is a perfect place to stay overnight during the NC500 trip. Got all the amenities you need, room is nice and big with a kitchenette included. There's a restaurant next to it too. The best thing was you wake up to a lake right in front of the building."

A small family staff manage to cover all the main jobs (check in, bar, cooking, restaurant service, breakfast etc), remaining calm throughout. Rooms are comfortable, warm and well supplied. Our meals in the restaurant were excellent. Nice lounge for drinks from the bar and evening games."

"Very nice bed and breakfast in very nice house surrounded by green garden. approximately 15 miles from the nice fishermen village Ullapool. The entrance from the road is marked with a very small sign that can easily be missed.There was no T.V in the room since the place is isolated."

"It is a great view! Easy to park just over the road. Plenty of breakfast items and fruit provided. It was a bit cold when we arrived but once the heating was on we warmed up. Bed comfy, big telly."

"The guesthouse and the host, Brian, were great. Due to a booking error, I was able to book the accommodation even though they were closed. Brian still gave us a warm welcome and upgraded our room free of charge. He gave us tips for a good restaurant and even made a reservation for us! The breakfast was delicious and lovingly prepared. We would definitely recommend this hostel; it was simply fantastic!"

"Very nice high spec hotel. Rooms have everything you could need. Hotel has a drying room which is handy on a wet day. Great view of the bay. Staff very nice and helpful. Negatives: very limited food menu, nothing for vegans. Seems very overpriced compared to similar hotels in the highlands. "
