"From the minute I arrived the owner couldn't have been more helpful. The room was lovely and it was a bonus to have a communal lounge with use of a fridge and washing facilities.
I pre-ordered my breakfast and time I'd like it for. Breakfast arrived, the food was good quality well cooked and piping hot when I got it - delicious. On top there was fresh fruit, tea or coffee plus some baked items.
I would definitely recommend staying here."

"Great view of harbour from room. Old fashioned decor, but well kept and very clean. Good dinner and lively atmosphere in the HS1 restaurant (even for a Sunday!). Central location in the town, with view of the castle and its beautiful gardens. Free parking at rear of hotel. Lots of little shops, cafes and pubs nearby."
