"Very nice hotel. Great service. Breakfast too class. Outdoor facilities was perfect. Our fifth visit on the hotel."

"Perfect location for a 1-night stopover in Kiel between the train and the ferry en route to Sweden from the Netherlands. The hotel is directly opposite the main train station and just 10 minutes' walk from the Stena Line terminal at Schwedenkai. Very friendly and helpful staff, a lovely big room and breakfast served until after noon (because it was a Sunday). Highly recommended all round."

"Very good experience, highly recommended by the location, service, cleanliness and facilities on the hotel"

"Great hotel, great location! Highly recommended if you are going on a cruise starting from Kiel. "

"Fantastic Servicemand room fantastic"

"Ganske fint hotel. Vi var på gennemrejse på vej hjem til DK og havde brug for en overnatning, hvor vi kunne parkere lige ved hotellet. Det var der fuldstændig styr på, da vi ankom. Fin service og skøn morgenmad. Rent og pænt og hundevenligt. Skal jeg på shopping i Kiel, vil jeg vælge et hotel tættere på centrum, da vi altid har hund med, men man kan dog sagtens gå til centrum."

"Nice hotel, friendly bilingual staff."

"A nice hotel, central location in Kiel. Walking distance to the port, and the ferry to Oslo or Gothenburg. Friendly staff. Simple, but nice breakfast."

"Great location and best views of the Kiel Fjord "

"We had arrived by boat from Lithuania and this Hotel was very handy for the train station. We paid 125 euros which I felt was very expensive for this hotel. There is no air conditioning which in hotter weather would have been a problem."

"The Intercity Hotel is in an excellent location right by the train station. I was in Kiel to take a cruise and the cruise shuttle bus parked beside it and the old town was also in walking distance. The room was comfortable and the breakfast room was great with a very good selection and views of the harbour and the cruise ships. The front staff were exceptionally couteous, friendly and helpful with things like storing my suitcase for a few hours."
