"We had an incredible room on the 4th floor tower in the main maison. The staff was fantastic and even helped us carry our luggage up all those stairs! We even got to see hot air balloons over breakfast. This is a must place to stay and tour the property!"

"Wow just wow , I ve been fortunate enough to stay in some nice hotels around the world , and Chateau de Marvel is up there with the best. The Chateau is stunning , and set in a great position to explore the local tourist attractions and Dordogne. The heated outdoor swimming pool is an added bonus and a lovely place to relax in nature after a day out exploring. "The owner is very kind and considerate and did everything possible to make our one night stay welcoming. We needed something between Lascaux and Padirac Cave. The hotel is clean and the chambers are large and the village is beautifully picturesque. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the bed was just a bit firm so I woke up with a sore hip but this is just me because I like a softer mattress. The price we paid was very reasonable and I highly recommend! "
