"This is really the only place to stay in Des Moines. It is so gorgeous. The scale of it is amazing. Everything from the Cool statues and artwork in the library to the rooms themselves are just beautiful. Bravo!"

"This was a great room for our stay in Des Moines. I was curious about the breakfast after reading a few reviews complaining about it, but it was just like all of the other continental breakfasts; waffles, eggs and sausage, juice and coffee, fruit, cereal, muffins and toast, yogurt, cereal etc. The room was clean and the staff was nice and it was a good price."

"This is in my top two spots to stay when visiting my daughter at ISU - convenient, spacious rooms, free breakfast - I mean what more could you ask for? "

"This hotel is the best one we’ve stayed at in all the years we’ve visited Ames. A fantastic find for our son’s graduation weekend at Iowa State! We booked two rooms which were spacious, comfy, well-appointed suites that incl a kitchenette and sleeper sofa. There was enough room for all of us to gather, have drinks etc. Breakfast was outstanding in comparison to other hotels in the area. Staff was friendly and professional. Super clean. Highly recommended! "

"This place is dated but it’s a cool place if you have children. This Ramada needs a make over its time! The staff is nice check in was easy."

"Hotel was clean and near everything in Ames. "

"This was our first stay here and we will be back. We were very pleased with the room and the place itself. The location was perfect for us On a future stay, we might ask ask for a bit more distance between ourselves and the front area as that got a bit noisy at times but it wasn't intolerable."
