We stay in one the celle, which is a 3 bedroom apartment on 2 floors, with your own private garden...yes, that's correct. Simply unheard of.

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Le Baron, the hotel is stylish, comfortable, quiet, relaxing and the staff are attentive but not obtrusive. As you might expect in Tuscany the food and wine at the hotel was excellent. The hotel had beautiful grounds and is a sanctuary to return to after a day in the Tuscan countryside. We even met the Owners the Count and Countess who frequent hotel regularly to mingle with guests.

Was a little disappointed with check-in. Receptionist wasn't particularly welcoming - rather, she gave us the impression we had been interrupting her "rest" as she wasn't even at the reception desk and we had to call to get her to come down to attend to us. The room was amazing and spacious. Bed was so comfortable and all in all the room was a dream. Annoyed that we had to go out in the rain to access our room (it was a superior double room), and amenities were very basic and not too pleasant....

One of the best hotels I have stayed - small, 'boutique' feel. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff - they seemed to want us to enjoy our stay ! Stayed 2 x one night, so had 2 different rooms - both quite different, but both excellent quality & space. Dinner in restaurant was superb; breakfast buffet excellent. c. 20 minute walk into the centre of Florence, maybe 30 mins to Ponte Vecchio, or use the shuttle bus or taxis. Highly recommended - can't wait to go back !

Very pleased with our hotel, it had both character and a touch of luxury! Beautiful dining room also where we had breakfast, but service could certainly be improved there. Still it would not put us off staying here again when we return to Florence.

Have just stayed here for one week mid June. Very peaceful hotel, once a mill, with walled gardens, swimming pool and views over the river and weir. Beautifully decorated inside with many seating areas, and a delightful courtyard. Restaurant has awning covered eating area too. Other private areas with tables chairs and parasols.
