We loved this hotel and its central location. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the added plus of having air conditioning made our stay even better. The outdoor space was lovely and we enjoyed drinks in the quiet garden in the evening.
The only negative was the breakfast experience. The standard of the food and the selection was very good but the whole dining experience could be improved. The buffet was never fully stocked and we had to wait for food on each of the four mornings...

Lovely staff, very helpful. Small bathroom but it’s a bathroom and served it purpose. Although shower screen would have been more preferred than a shower curtain. Very hot weekend so AC was a godsend.

The Bosun’s Chair was easy to find and well situated in the centre of Lymington.
Parking was a little tight, so ideal if you arrive early if possible.
Pub type surroudings as the name would suggest. Rooms were well laid out and well equipped with all the mod con’s you would expect from a larger hotel.
The menu whilst being a little restricted was good for my wife and I.
Breakfasts was first class and the staff super helpful and friendly.
We would definitely stay there again.

Its a room above a pub but as far as it goes , it was great. Staff were outstanding and understanding. Beer was good. Room was spacious (stayed in family room), and clean. For the price this is an excellent stay. Breakfast included another huge plus. Also loads of onsite parking + 5 min walk to hospital / 10 min walk to Poole Central. Thank you!

Lovely spacious comfortable room, very clean and beautifully quiet. Tea and coffee supplies locally sourced where possible as were a lot of items on the menu. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast at the hotel and really enjoyed everything. Bar well stocked with an excellent range. Attentive lovely staff, who know how to be in stealth mode and not interrupt while you’re in full swing of conversation. Alas the weather wasn’t so cheery but it’s a great spot for getting out and about for a walk, and we...

Service was amazing from the moment we stepped inside.
We had a drink in the bar before we went out, and we both said we wished we were staying at the hotel for dinner as the service was brilliant. The personal touch made a huge difference.
The room was to the highest standard and certainly did not disappoint.
Only reservation and this is scraping the barrel, however I hope they can be helpful to someone:

We arrived on the Friday afternoon, they let us check in at 2.30pm even though check in isn't until 3pm as our room was ready! The room was great, very clean and we brought our dog with us, they even provided a dog bowl and food mat for him- which we where very impressed with.. the whole weekend was just suburb, all the staff where great and nothing was to much trouble, they even let us have breakfast in the lounge area so that our dog could sit with us. We would defiantly go back!

We are so pleased we found this hotel - we visited for a family stay with a 8 month old baby.
We found that we were one of many families there with young children - and having stayed there now, I can see why.
The hotel cater for everything that you need to travel with a young child - changing mat, crib, high chairs. There is a 2 hour session free cresche twice a day, cinema for children in the evening - even a baby kitchen!
The staff are lovely, accommodating and can’t do enough to help...
