"The terrace and gardens were a great place to relax with drinks & food available from the bar. Bar staff were great. Our room was upgraded on arrival and was enormous with views over the gardens. Great location as only a 5 min walk to the pier. Would def stay here again"

"Arrived slightly late but still greeting by owner. Room was spacious and luxurious but does need some TLC. Beautiful balcony overlooking wonderful spacious gardens, small pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Breakfast was excellent, staff were very friendly, helpful and respectfully distant. Had a great meal at The Bear of Burton (two doors away). Great distance from Christchurch (6 minutes). Would stay again."

"Fantastic location just across from the sea. Lovely to have a fan provided in the room as, being on the top floor it did get quite warm. Good choice for dining and breakfast was ample. Simple food but well presented and on the whole tasted great! Rooms were pretty well equipped although could have made use of a chest of drawers. Plenty to do in the area. Thank you"

"Have stayed at hotel before and will do so again. Essentially, it is value for money. Good, spacious room, plenty to offer at breakfast, option to dine in in the evening if you are not going out. As a solo traveller, it is very welcoming. Near the town centre and beach, so ticks all boxes."

"The Laguna hotel is a very unique setup, and it does feel like going back in time when you are there. But it's very honest, clean and friendly. It is also very well located for accessing shops and restaurants and is great value."
