"The hotel was really good with communication, and made us feel welcomed at check in. The room was small, but comfy and well designed. It’s really close to a metro stop, which is really helpful for getting around. What I loved was their breakfast buffet. Usually these are hit and miss, but this was a hit. They had a pistachio break that was so good, I wanted to run off with the whole loaf."

"This is the third time I’ve stayed at this hotel while visiting Lyon. My wife and I stayed at The Ruck during the Rugby World Cup in 2023. It was a most memorable occasion, as we shared the hotel with the New Zealand All Blacks squad. The staff were then and during this most recent visit the most welcoming. Food is great too. Lyon old town is easily reachable by the underground train. Takes about 15 minutes tops."
