Hotels near Lauterbrunnen Station

"Loved the proximity to the train; Great food and wonderful staff!"

"Hotel is perfectly located on Lauterbrunnen main street next to bus stop and railway station. Rooms are compact but comfortable. Excellent breakfast and restaurant is also very good with excellent menu and nice roadside patio seating. Reception hours are limited and sometimes hard to find someone to assist but staff were always helpful."

"Great property right next to train station. The family room was ideal for a family of 5 with three young kids. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the Wengen area!"

"Beautiful view from the room. The staff was very nice and helpful. Wengen is such a beautiful place."

"Had a lovely stay. The staff promptly greeted us upon arrival and provided us with a complimentary drink which was very thoughtful. We stayed in a building separate from the main hotel and had an incredible view with a quaint balcony. Staff assisted us by bringing out luggage to the room which was very kind after a long day of traveling. Complimentary breakfast was provided and the meal was incredible. Would certainly recommend booking with this phenomenal hotel."

"Great location in Wegen. Very close to the railway and cable car stations. Lovely pool and Spa which was great for relaxing after a long day’s sightseeing and walk! Lively bar. "

"Brilliant location, close to the train. Super helpful staff, older hotel, but great size room, and lots of amenities"

"Amazing yesteryear charm. Loved staying here. Staff were so helpful, hotel was quaint and well maintained. Amazing views of the mountains. Wengen is the perfect town for exploring the region."

"This is an amazing hotel and the balcony view is worth every penny. I really tho if ht Wengen was a much better base than somewhere like Interlaken. The views of the mountains and Lauterbrunnen valley were incredible. It’s a great home base for the Jungfrau region. The staff and property are amazing!"

"Really enjoyed our stay! Beautiful views from the room, very centrally located and close to the train, and looked forward to the breakfast every morning. Also highly recommend the pizza in the restaurant -- we ate here twice. And special thank you to Ellen at the front desk who was greatly helpful with some recommendations during our stay!"

"Great cottage and location at the end of the Main Street in Wengen. Incredible views from the mountain facing terrace and the best included breakfast I’ve had at any location. Used as my base camp to explore the Swiss Alps over 4 days, which was perfect going up the Jungfrau side, thru Lauterbrunnen and the east side mountains, or into Interlaken/Bern if the weather restricted visibility."

"Small cozy hotel, decent size rooms, clean, excellent service. Getting to the train station is uphill, but there is a shuttle available. The three-course dinner for 20 SF is the biggest bargain in Switzerland. Above all, the views of the valley and Lauterbrunnen are incredible. I wish I could post a couple of pictures."

"Everything was perfect and the owners are very gracious hosts. Unbeatable location for exploring the Jungfrau region."

"Beautiful mountain views and the staff were super friendly! Our favorite place to stay on our whole trip throughout Switzerland."

"What a great summer stay in Wengen! Balcony room is definitely worth the money! Restaurant was wonderful and the staff were helpful and talkative. Also have a baggage cart to go up to the train when leaving. Loved our stay at Hotel Bären."

"Amazing view of Lauterbrunnen valley "

"We loved the location in Wengen and wished we had more time there to explore all the things to do and see on foot. A picturesque traditional Swiss building right in the middle of the village and the cows came right by our door."

"Murren was loveliest swiss village with the most incredible views of the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau mountains. Lots to do nearby and easy transportation to/from everything in the region. This hotel is designed in very good taste, food is outstanding, staff friendly and the room was great. You can’t go wrong here. We stayed in a Senior Suite with our 2 children (2 bedrooms, 2 bath plus living area)."

"Très bien situé dans la station et idéal pour une famille"

"This was a beautiful hotel situated at the base of the village. Easy access to the village on a free local bus or a short ascent. Staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, the restaurant was delicious. Thank you!"
