"First room was very noisy over night, asked to be moved the next morning, reception staff were very helpful. Upgraded to a room overlooking the river which was much quieter. Good facilities, food and staff, enjoyed the rest of the stay."

"This B&B is in a quiet residential neighborhood. The room was small. We were not offered the use of a lounge area. The sunroom where breakfast was served was very nice. The one negative is that they billed our credit card for the room when the reservation was made but did not inform us that they ..."

"This was our second stay at the Scholars Hotel. We returned to Drogheda in order to stay there. The hotel is an oasis. The breakfasts are divine, and dinner in the bar was excellent . "

Only problem is, the hotel does not have a lift, and for someone like me with a heart condition, it wasn't easy having to walk all the way up the many stairs to our room at the top of the house on the 3rd floor.
