"The location of the hotel was really good, especially since we didn’t rent a car. We were able to walk to the waterfront and to little Italy. The hotel smelled amazing and was super clean. The staff was helpful and got us whatever we needed. The beds and pillows were very comfortable also. If I get back to San Diego I will definitely stay again!"

"The location is a perfect middle ground to the military bases, downtown activities, and the beach. Parking on the street is free 8pm-8am. There are different room sizes available so choose wisely. I chose a smaller room for my temporary stay. The room is so cute and overly clean. There is a fridge, microwave, smart tv, and a few other basic amenities. I definitely recommend this for your short or long term stays."

When the Taxi pulled up to the hotel we were immediately greeted and the offer assistant with our luggage from the valets, and when we got to the front we were greeted with overwhelming friendliness. "Great stay at the Hampton Inn downtown San Diego. Location was ideal to simply park the car and walk to Little Italy, waterfront park, and Seaport Village. The room was clean and spacious. All staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet had ample choices and the breakfast room was large enough to accommodate large groups comfortably. Would definitely stay here again."

"Everything was wonderful, location-room-Except’ parking. After going around so many times and still not getting close. We had our puppies and luggage. There were pipes sticking out of side walk that my husband didn’t see and fell in the middle of the crosswalk. We weren’t able to use the key pad to get in and out the door closest to our room. "A fun hotel in the thick of Little Italy, so no shortage of venues within a short walk. Room very comfortable and well furnished. A wonderful restaurant and bar that looks out over the harbor is a plus. There were rooftop movies at night. Just a fun place and a quiet and restful room in a great part of town. This our second visit and we'll be back, "

"One staff person is on duty per shift, and 3 took excellent care of me in office on different shifts. Each was knowledgeable and helpful. The hotel has been updated but is not upscale and was safe, basic, and ok. It is in Little Italy, where there are many restaurants and bars. It is 5 blocks from MTA Bus 992 stop which goes to/from nearby airport for $2.50 on any credit card or cash."

"Clean space! It is located in a good area, and grocery stores are within a walking distance. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The Gaslamp Quarter on 5th Avenue is just a 15-minute walk away! Also, you can take the trolley on Park and Market St. to commute to various spots."
