"Great bargain in a great location. Eclectic hotel. Restaurants galore and nightlife right outside the door. I stayed to see Alanna Sterling in concert at Urbanista, a bar three blocks away. Whenever they return to this area of Montreal for another show, I will definitely stay at Pensione Popolo."

"Great location and very pet friendly. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. Parking was a little difficult as you had to rely on street parking. Many space were only for permit holders."

"Nice place, nice neighbourhood. Bus line right by the entrance (and diagonally across the street that gets to the subway quickly). It really is a proper two bedrooms. Washer and dryer in the bathroom, with detergent provided. Coffee machine with enough coffee to get started. Really clean. My only (tiny) remark is that the apartment key code entry needs some getting used to. After two days, it was easy, but the first day, I thought I was not getting in. It does work, so don't panic and try...
