"Would have got higher rating except the man that checked us in bragged about the Chinese restaurant across the street. He said it was the best he ever had, fresh food and well prepared. Could not have been further from the truth (barely edible). I do not like being lied to so I would not recommend this place."

"This is a quaint little motel in a quiet area. The room was undersized, but it was clean. The bathroom had a shower with no tub. The shower curtain was too narrow for the shower, so water on the floor was inevitable. Also no place in the shower to put the soap or shampoo, or the wash cloth. There was no microwave or coffee perk, so nothing hot to eat or drink. The fridge did not work at all, even when turned up to “max”, and there was no ice bucket or place to get ice…. So nothing cold either. I was disappointed about all these things, but at least it was clean."
