Was a little disappointed with check-in. Receptionist wasn't particularly welcoming - rather, she gave us the impression we had been interrupting her "rest" as she wasn't even at the reception desk and we had to call to get her to come down to attend to us. The room was amazing and spacious. Bed was so comfortable and all in all the room was a dream. Annoyed that we had to go out in the rain to access our room (it was a superior double room), and amenities were very basic and not too pleasant....

Booked the Ponte Vecchio Suites and Spa based on previous user ratings - and I was not disappointed. On arrival the staff were friendly and very helpful - check-in process was great. We were shown to the suite which was bigger and better appointed than I was expecting. Clean, airy and light. Sofa, dining table and chairs, kitchenette, bathroom with rainfall shower, huge bed (one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have slept in!). One of the best hotels I have stayed - small, 'boutique' feel. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff - they seemed to want us to enjoy our stay ! Stayed 2 x one night, so had 2 different rooms - both quite different, but both excellent quality & space. Dinner in restaurant was superb; breakfast buffet excellent. c. 20 minute walk into the centre of Florence, maybe 30 mins to Ponte Vecchio, or use the shuttle bus or taxis. Highly recommended - can't wait to go back !

Lovely new modern hotel in a fab location. Easy walking distance from everywhere. Breakfast, WiFi, Coffee 24/7 and mini bar topped up each day included in your room price. Good value for money. Would stay there again.

From the moment of arrival to a sad departure we were looked after by the excellent staff at this hotel.The bedroom was clean with excellent room servicing every day. Breakfast was full of marvelous choice from cold cuts to fruit to breads to cooked food-bacon eggs sausage etc. with the staff discretely looking after the removal of finished dishes and glasses etc. Unfortunately the rooftop area was not in use as it was the last week in December but the views were excellent from there over the...

Beautiful little hotel right in the heart of Florence. Giovanni & Nadine are very welcoming and could not do enough to make sure our stay was perfect, they even loaned us umbrellas the following morning when they was a heavy down pour & thunderstorm.. Hotel is very traditional and breakfast was lovely. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay at Hotel Spadai that is conveniently located close to the Duomo and the heart of the Florence city. It was a last minute booking for us as we had trouble with blackout at another hotel down the street. The stay at the hotel albeit turned out to be nice surprise with an upgrade from double to a Junior suite. Stay were courteous and helpful who made our check in and check out seamless.

Perfect breakfast, with a complimentary 10 minute massage after - made for an excellent start to the day. Great central location, close to everything. Relaxed atmosphere. Brilliant that the gym next door can be used for free. Very happy staying here.

shame there is no restaurant in the hotel as the nearest one is like a greasy spoon and not very nice food

Lovely hotel and great position in Florence. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely plenty of choice. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Perfect for the usual sightseeing !

Hotel is beautiful. Staff, exceptionally friendly, especially Fabien, the bar waiter! Room (delux) was quaint, quite small, but lovely and clean. Room also had an excellent coffee maker. Result. Loads of beautiful winding streets, outstanding architecture and loads of fab cafés and resturants all within seconds of the hotel. Thoroughly recommend this hotel!

We had a great time in Florence and loved the hotel and its facilities. It was clean, modern and very friendly and helpful staff. Location was great and a short walk from the station and the city centre. A roof top pool was a fantastic bonus apart from being very crowded at times.

Amazing hotel within walkable distance of all the top attractions of Florence. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Rooms were really good size and serviced everyday. When we are back I. Florence we will be booking again

The hotel is well situated in the heart of Florence and so all the key attractions are very walkable. As an inner-city hotel it's compact, with limited additional amenities, however the staff were very friendly, the bedroom was incredibly clean and quiet, and there was a small breakfast room for the morning as well. We would be very happy staying here again on our next visit.
