Great accommodation — modern, clean, and very spacious. Both the room and bathroom offered more space than you usually find in a hotel. I appreciated the high-quality, spotless materials (bed sheets, mattress, pillows, towels, etc.). Breakfast was not huge in variety (but all you need), but everything provided was fresh and of excellent quality. The location is also perfect, close to the city center and many restaurants.

A very comfortable hotel managed by caring owners.Only wish they had more vegetarian choice for dinner.

We stayed for 3 nights over Easter, and I've been very positively surprised with this hotel. The staff is friendly. As the heating was turned off on our arrival in our room and the room was with very high ceilings I asked for an extra heater to cope with the situation. We have been offered a new room straight ahead which was very prompt from the staff. The building is an old monastery and is quite romantic - i liked the combination of modern and old. Amazing lake view. And good sauna experience

This hotel is extremely special. We stayed in the private spa suite and had our own sauna. The room was stunning, with an amazing view. It was actually better than I expected. Breakfast and dinner was included with the price and both were tasty. Pick a meat option as the vegetable option could have been better. It was my partners birthday and the hotel made it special. A nice hotel in a very pleasant and quiet location in Grunau. The same lady was on reception / bar duty throughout my stay and couldn’t have been more helpful. The hotel is set back from the road and has largish garden and plentiful parking. Views around the hotel are fabulous and add to the relaxing environment. The room itself was relatively basic but didn’t really lack anything - except maybe tea / coffee facilities (although in fairness a couple of complimentary small bottles of water...
