Very welcoming staff at the hotel with a super-friendly dog called Neige (he is a gentle giant, Bernese Mountain dog, very docile and is only around in the afternoon :) )
We used the hotel as a base to hike around the Aussois area over a long weekend in August. Breakfast was a great continental buffet to get you started with all the usuals including a machine to boil eggs. There is a free car park literally next to the hotel which is very convenient. We stayed at the hotel, which is within very easy walking distance of the town, for two nights and ate there both nights - food was wonderful and beautifully prepared. Breakfasts were equally good and all the staff very friendly. The owner was very helpful on where to go and what to see and we both left having had a very pleasant short break.
