Hotels in Chateauneuf-d'Ille-et-Vilaine

Needed a hotel close to St Malo for an early crossing following a week in the Vendee. Didn't fancy the 5.30am start it would have taken to reach the ferry the same morning. Superb hotel. Incredible diner. Excellent service. Also had time to visit nearby Cancale which was an unexpected pleasure. Highly recommend this hotel if you're around the st Malo/Nth East Brittany area, particularly if you like fine food.

Absolutely superb. Tremendous host

Great location in Dinan; breakfast was excellent. The only negative (and not the hotel’s fault) was parking. As the hotel is in the centre of Dinan there is no parking available other than a municipal parking centre located about 150 meters from the hotel. This cost on average about €25 per night. Otherwise, an excellent hotel and we will be back!!

Our stay at this hotel was wonderful from start to finish. The location is amazing. Dinan is beautiful and the hotel is right by the river. Staff are wonderful. So helpful and friendly. Our room was lovely. Very clean with the comfiest bed ever. Great swimming pool to relax in after the long drive from Calais. Plenty of parking onsite. We will return.

A real gem. On arrival the owner made us very welcome and throughout our stay he was extremely helpful. A nice, quiet, well appointed room and an excellent breakfast.The location is ideal for exploring the area. You can walk to Intra-Muros (The old town) or there is a bus stop nearby. There are also a couple of bikes you can hire from the hotel, which we did. Plenty restaurants nearby to choose from. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it. What a wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived we were so warmly welcomed. Our room was amazing - so beautifully done and most comfortable. Brilliant location in central Dinan, but quiet too.

Ok. The location is not the best, right in the middle of an industrial park, but it has it's own car park and once in the gates it is a very pleasing setting, The staff are friendly and helpful the rooms clean and comfortable and the dining superb.

In a quiet location, ten minute walk into town. Very friendly staff, good choice for breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable with clear instructions how to connect to the internet. Cannot comment on Spa as did not use this facility.

The hotel was nicely located in the old town. Check in was easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and modern The reception bar is nice and laid back with a good selection to choose from

A wonderful stay in Cancale. Hotel was great. Kids loved the pool. Excellent breakfast buffet Dog friendly room was ideal for our four legged friend

Upon arriving at the hotel we were greeted by the staff although we arrived a few hours too early for our check in the staff made our room available to us within 20 mins. Room was comfortable and welcoming with a modern bathroom. Really enjoyed our stay will definately return again soon and would recommend to anyone.

I had a wonderful stay with my five-year-old daughter on our recent visit to Saint Malo. The room was very comfortable and clean with all amenities and access to a nice courtyard, it was super convenient for the ferry terminal, the old town and beaches, the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful and the breakfast was magnifique. Merci beacoup, we'll be back!

Clean, modern and friendly. Nice waterside location. Quiet. Only issue was no soya milk or GF bread/options for breakfast, so we just had coffee (black) which was free as an apology (and without being asked/no fuss from us).

We've used this hotel a number of times. For the money it's perfectly acceptable. Rooms and clean and comfortable (with air con). Staff and bar area are nice. Not had the breakfast, but have no reason to assume this wouldn't be ok. Very close to the hyper market (across the car park) if you want to shop. It's a reasonably priced hotel, so perhaps the area is not that special - but we don't expect the Ritz for that money! Decent deck area to sit out and have a drink when weather is nice. One...

We had a very enjoyable stay at Brit Hotel. Conveniently situated away from the busy traffic behind a tractor store. Surrounded by lovely green lawns. The rooms were comfortable with real glassware and coffee mugs. We appreciated this touch as it is unusual for a short stay hotel.

Had a great night in this hotel. The owners were incredibly friendly with good advice on what to do, hotel is very clean, lobby is nice, location very central. Room is basic but has everything you need.
