"We wanted to find a new stopover hotel for Eurotunnel. It was a little bit far but otherwise we had a very nice stay. The hotel was very quiet. The decor is very traditional (flowery wallpaper matching flowery counterpane) so you need to like that, there is no modern crossover although the bathroom was excellent - great shower! "Very easy to check in and get to room. Parking very convenient too. Used as a stop off for one night. We chose this hotel as it offered cooked breakfast for €11 instead of the usual €9 but there was only continental breakfast on the day. That was it. So very disappointed as this is what we chose it for. Also no diary free milk option like soya or oat. So couldn’t even have coffee or cereal either. "

"What a gem - from the outside, absolutely nothing special, but inside a delight. Fairly compact room but the high ceiling made it feel spacious. Very clean and an excellent shower. Friendly welcome, despite our limited French and the staff member's limited English - also very helpful in explaining the Sunday parking tariff outside the hotel. Good breakfast too. Definitely worth considering if you're looking for a stay in Lens."

"Basic motel within a couple of minutes drive of the autoroute. Friendly staff. Decent bed. Bathroom a bit cramped, but clean. Big TV on the wall. Excellent car park. Supermarket within a 5 minute walk. McDonald’s and another restaurant close by. Very good value for money."

"Le Chat aquí Dort was beautiful. We booked this for our last 2 nights before flying home after a long trip, and it was exactly what we needed. The bed was super comfortable, the room was clean, and had all amenities required. We booked the Iris room on the second floor, which happened to have a beautiful terrace attached to it, making the evenings and morning even more enjoyable. The hotel is across the street from the metro station (5€ for a 24 hour metro pass) making it super easy to get...

"Spotless room and bathroom. Spacious, comfortable - and they allow

for a small fee. Our hotel also had a garden and outdoor patio furniture - and ice-cold beer on a scorchingly hot day! The manager warmly welcomed us and couldn’t have been more helpful - he spoke very good English and listened patiently to my poor French! Free onsite parking - it was a great stay and I would go back there."

"It was a good stay. Typical European hotel room – Small and we had two twin beds. Restaurant was good and food was tasty.. Thankfully there was hand soap available because I had forgotten to bring mine from home. And it had a very nice flavor. It was really nice and worked really well as shampoo also"
